"The course of my family's future changed 4-years ago. It started with a 20th Wedding Anniversary Trip with Absolute Alaska Adventures. My wife and I had such an excellent and awe inspiring experience. I will try to highlight some particulars, but no words can replace the adventure itself.

Let's start with the Owners and staff. We fell in love with them! So welcoming and warm, and the knowledge of Alaska was impressive. Oh, the food.......WOW just WOW!

Let's talk about the fishing (adding the hunting here would just be too much). All the needed gear and equipment was provided, and it was comfortable top of the line gear. No expense was spared! We couldn't believe the hospitality and arrangements that were made. They had it all! Flyouts fishing next to real live Brown bears, ocean fishing starting from 3 different locations, every day smacking the rivers and streams for our limits of Reds and trout, and King fishing on the Kenai, and Kasilof. Every single Captain and Guide treated us like we were family. We harvested over 400 processed pounds of fish-King, Silver, and Sockeye Salmon, Halibut, Ling Cod, Yellow Eye, Rock fish, and more..... All of our fish was processed, frozen, vacuum packed, and packaged for us to fly home. My wife cried when we left and surprisingly I did too. True lifelong bonds were born, first with Alaska in all of it's beauty, then with the Lyman family. Absolute Alaska Adventures is the result of the Lyman's more than 20-year commitment to this area. Hunting, fishing, adventuring all throughout Alaska, and many other locations in this great Country. Here they are!

So how did that anniversary trip change the direction of my family's future? Well, because of the connection we had with Absolute Alaska Adventures in January of 2019 we moved to the Kenai Peninsula, and now we own a Homestead on Deep Creek in Ninilchik.
So, if you decide to treat yourself with the kind of awesome experience we continue to have we will likely meet, and you can tell me yourself that this trip was the the trip of your lifetime!

I went to Alaska for the first time last year. Absolute Alaska Adventures is the way to go. I flew into Kenai and was greeted at the airport and taken to my lodging accommodations. Stayed at Aspen Hollow, it’s an awesome place. Sterling and his staff know where and when to go fishing. They have all of the fishing gear you need and the connections for characters. Definitely go in the bear fly out. I can’t wait to go back.

In the summer of 2017, my son and I embarked on a once in a lifetime Alaskan fishing trip with Absolute Alaskan Adventures. Arriving in Anchorage we were picked up at the airport and shuttled to our hotel. After freshening up, we went out to dinner where I had the best King Salmon I had ever tasted. The following day, we did a little sightseeing in anchorage and took care of our fishing license requirements. We drove to Seward down the scenic Seward Highway, past the Turnagain arm, stopping for homemade ice cream in Girdwood. We saw beluga whales, moose, and brown bear. We checked in with our charters and sampled the local wares of Seward. We spent the night in an extremely comfortable local cabin. We had a little fire outside our cabin that night talking about all that we had experienced and excited for our next day of fishing. We fished with a great local charter company the following day (one of the best charters in Seward) and limited out on black rockfish and Halibut. The largest Halibut was over 100lbs, after fishing, we sampled more of the local wares and turned in for the night. The following day we hiked up to the Exit Glacier (amazing) and then traveled to our cabin in Ninilchik. The following days we fished the Kenai and Kasilof rivers and the Cook Inlet. We caught red salmon, king salmon, and halibut every day. Absolute Alaskan Adventures provided all our accommodations, transportation, charters, packed lunches, fishing poles, waders, fish processing, and any other fishing equipment we required. Guides were provided to all the best fishing spots. We went on a back-country fly-in charter as well. We limited on red salmon and saw Moose, Bald eagles, and Brown bear. Our return flight to Nikiski the pilot flew us to the top of the volcano and the glacier. It was truly a once in a lifetime adventure. Since that trip in 2017, I have experienced 5 once in a lifetime Alaskan adventures with Absolute Alaskan Adventures. I would highly recommend Absolute Alaskan Adventures for your first or next Alaskan trip.

"I never really thought about going to Alaska. Then I did. I’m a junky now. Absolute Alaska Adventures was the perfect choice. I now love fishing and actually eating it. Sterling, Char and their entire crew made my trip the best it could possibly be. Great accommodations, charters, all of the gear and the BEAR FLYOUT was THE BEST!!! This will be my third year and I can’t wait. Make sure you go on the Kasilof with Sonny, get those Kings.
If you don’t fish they have options there also. The drive from Anchorage to Seward is almost god like... then on to the Kenai"

"I’ve been to Alaska two times in my life and the experience I had with Absolute Alaska Adventures was one of the best experiences in my lifetime. I stayed at the Aspen Hollow and Sterling and his staff were amazing. The cabins were in excellent shape, clean, and very comfortable.

They had all the fishing gear and equipment that we needed to fish. The guides knew where to catch all the fish and were very knowledgeable about the area. I fished on the Kenai river and caught my limit every single day. Sterling and his staff cleaned all my fish and stored them for me while I fished some more. I would definitely recommend the bear flyout. I was able to fish in a remote area with bears floating in the river eating salmon. This was an amazing thing to experience. Sterling also has all the connections for charters to fish for halibut, rockfish, lingcod, and silver salmon. Seward is a great place to visit for a charter. When I was there I was able to catch a 75 pound halibut which brought my adrenaline sky high.

If you are looking for the best experience in Alaska, I would definitely recommend Absolute Alaska Adventures and I rate it a 10 out of 10. I’m looking forward to my next trip with these guys, I can’t wait…."
